Designed in the early 1960s, these lamps were central to Jo Hammerborg’s celebrated "Saturn Series" for Fog & Mørup. The design explores the architectural tension between two concentric cylindrical bands—a form Hammerborg experimented with across various proportions and materials throughout the series.

This particular pair features a very rare ceiling-mounted format with an uncommon light and mid-grey lacquered finish, diverging from the more typical copper and black metal versions. Their clean, minimalist silhouette offers a modernist sculptural presence even when unlit.
