Antique Mission Oak Plant Stand. Beautiful quarter-sewn tiger-striped plank top. Angled post -narrow at top to wider at base.
Resourced from original owner who stated she’s had from her family home and it needs some love! Restored to original condition without changing past repairs such as the brass screws underneath top. New oak feet replaced pine that were partially missing, and overglued. A fresh coat of Early American stain with three coats of water based satin varnish brought this beauty back to life. Lovely aged warm and rich brown color.
There is slight warping to the top and an old scratch from age and use. The base does use a thin spacer on one foot to level for use on wood floor-otherwise stable without when placed on a rug. It isn’t as suited for carpeting as less stability due to height of carpet with feet depth
Great height for trailing plants and windows.
37.75” tall x 12” square top and 11” scalloped base.
