This Art Deco flush mount was designed and manufactured in Germany in the 1920s to 1930s during the Bauhaus period. It features an opaline dark sand colored glass lampshade with a marbled, swirled pattern, typically achieved through a special glassblowing or finishing process. The fixture's metal parts have a dark, likely oil-rubbed bronze / burnished finish, adding to its antique appearance.
