From left to right:
Charles II (1630–1685), future King of England,
James II and VII (1633–1701), also a future king,
and Mary, Princess Royal and Princess of Orange (1631–1660),

They are depicted as children in an elegant interior, accompanied by spaniels. The painting captures their innocent expressions, unaware of the turmoil ahead—their father’s execution, the monarchy’s abolition, and the royal family’s exile.

Signed “Wagner” in the lower right—the mark of the renowned 19th-century Wagner workshop, known for finely painted portrait miniatures on KPM and other high-quality German porcelain.

The reverse features the Julius Greiner Sohn oval stencil mark along with remnants of the original green paper label, confirming its prestigious origin and collectible value.

Presented in a modern frame with both an easel back and hanging ring, this piece is ready for display. The frame’s off-white color and decorative motif nicely complement the lace in the regal costumes.
