This circa 2001 graphite and gouache on paper figurative scene is by Monterey/Carmel artist of Russian descent, Gerald Wasserman (1920-2011). Wasserman studied at the Chicago Art Institute and was a long time member and exhibitor at the Carmel Art Association. He exhibited, lived, and traveled extensively throughout Europe.
Drawn while the artist was in Mexico.
Signed and dated lower right.
The piece will be shipped in a mat to fit a standard sized frame.
