This circa 1960s graphite on paper San Francisco scene, featuring downtown, the financial district, and the Transamerica Pyramid, is by San Francisco painter Jack Freeman (1938-2014). Freeman studied at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, with Oskar Kokoschka’s School of Vision in Austria, and received his MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute in the late 1960s. Freeman kept a studio in San Francisco’s SoMa neighborhood, just a few blocks from Lost Art Salon, for nearly forty-five years.
The piece will be shipped in a mat to fit a standard sized frame.
