This 1961 Modernist drawing in green colored pencil of an accordion player is by San Francisco North Beach artist Martin Snipper (1914-2008). Snipper studied at the National Academy of Art In New York and exhibited at the San Francisco Art Museum's (later to become SFMOMA) annual exhibitions. He was Director of the San Francisco Art Festival and Arts Commission.
Signed and dated lower right.
The piece will be shipped in a mat to fit a standard sized frame.
