This table was restored from very poor condition to the excellent condition it is today. Harlequin patterned parquetry inlaid top of ribbon mahogany and lighter wood surmounted on a rare, and most probably custom, carved mahogany sled base with low stretcher. The base is fixed to the top on a recessed apron with a beveled edge resulting in a finger -like cradle. See less
