Herbert Léon Marcel Theurillat is a Swiss painter, engraver and designer, born in 1896 in Saint-Imier and died in Collonge-Bellerive in 1987.
Coming to settle in Geneva in 1919, he became a professor of composition at the city's Fine Arts in 1941. from 1951 to 1956, he was a member of the Federal Commission of Fine Arts.
In 1968, the city of Geneva organized and sponsored its “30 Years of Painting Retrospective” at the Rath Museum. This piece has an attribution mark,
