Artifort Hairpin sofa with armrests model 105 designed by Theo Ruth in circa 1955. This sofa shows the playful organic style that was popular in the 1950s. The condition of this sofa is very good; it has been completely reupholstered in high-quality camira fabric. Theo Ruth (furniture designer and interior designer) was head of the design and development department at Artifort from 1939 to 1971. Material: teak and yellow and black camira fabric. Dimensions: h x w x d = 86 x 151 x 86 cm and seat height 46 cm. Source: Catalogue Artifort, quality in new forms page 106 and 107 (see photo) and book Artifort, publisher 010, page 48.
