this classic Modernist cylindrical shaped brushed aluminum downlight with it's beautiful clean, simple, minimalist lines is found in the best examples of Mid Century Modern architecture like the case study houses in Los Angeles and numerous Mid Century houses in Palm Springs.
it has a long thin metal stem and original ceiling cap is included
the interior is done in chrome metal.
it holds one regular size bulb .(bulb not included)
original paper label on the inside : Marco Marvin Electric Mfg. Co. Los Angeles
it carries an older Underwriters Laboratories certification label. (the "UL" marking indicates approval by Underwriters Laboratories). as this is an older label ,the lamp can be dated between the 1950s, 60s.
