Kai Lyngfeldt Larsen, set of four dining chairs, teak, leather, Denmark, 1950s these elegant teak dining chairs are both stately and modest. The teak frame beautifully complements with the leather upholstery. The back of this piece is slightly bent backwards to provide comfort. In absence of decorative details, the design convinces visually through the well-balanced appearance and the stabile construction. Incredible examples of mid century modern design and still stylistically current and chic.


One of the captain chairs must have been added to the set of 6 later on as the joints on the sides are missing but it doesn’t affect the use or stability of the chair. The back and the rest of the chair is all identical. Please refer to this in the pictures.
