timeless, sophisticated, and in the style of the new objectivity of german modernism, as implemented into reality by the bauhaus, giebichenstein castle and open-minded companies and designers of the time of artistic awakening.
the lamp is made of hand-blown satin glass, tapered concave and polished brass fittings.
the 2 brass sockets in the mounted s-shape are original, as are all the other attachments.
these e27 sockets are marked with drp for german reichs patent.
if a light switch that requires regulation is installed, we recommend installing dimmable bulbs (led or classic),
to underline the character of this classic.
it was completely disassembled and cleaned.
inside the lower conical brass fitting there was a small handwritten note written in sütterlin with schwintzer & gräff. The tapered ceiling canopy is also a style element often used by this company.
