In 1959, Otto Klaesson started manufacturing utensils and ornaments in stoneware and earthenware under the name "Klase Keramik".
In 1962, Otto's then 16-year-old son, Klas-Göran Klaesson (Klase J:r), joined the company. A few years later, his son took over the production completely.
Under Klase J:r's leadership, they switched from manufacturing utilitarian and household goods to focusing on figurines and figurine sets. This piece has an attribution mark,
