The artefact, also known as "Mushroom" or "Sapphire", was reported to the Compasso d'Oro in 1956
The lamp, designed by Massimo Vignelli, corresponds to model no. 4040 of the Venini Catalogue
The pair of lamps for sale was exhibited on the occasion of the "Venini. Luce 1921-1985" exhibition curated by Maino Barovier and Carla Sonetto, promoted by "Le Stanze del Vetro", Island of San Giorgio Maggiore, Venice, 2022 This piece has an attribution mark,
