1951 Regions of Italy - Umbria and Il Venento Maps.
The Atlante Delle Regioni d'Italia was publiched in 1951 by the European Recovery Program - a part of the Marshall Plan Mission to Italy - at a time when Italy, like most other countries in Europe, was struggling to get back on its feet after WWII. The charming illustrations by Nicouline depict color a map of each of the Regions of Italy with their principal cities, monuments, regional costumes and most notable characteristics.
