The base of this lamp is from the 1850s. Its copper pot held lamp oil, until it was later converted for electricity (late 1800’s). The copper pot is encased with scrolled, cast iron – Spanish-Influenced and very ornate! There are two Edison lightbulbs that can be turned on individually or together. It also has a screw to allow for heights adjustments (see picture). The lamp has been professionally rewired using authentic-looking cording and plug. The finial is an eye-catching, cut black adornment (note pictures)—this lamp is truly a stunning, one-of-a-kind piece!
The lamp is 25”H x8”D (at its widest part) x 6”W at base. Weight is 5.9 lbs.
