This is a very unique painting in that it depicts the sitter in profile in a very mid-century modern setting with period style and clothing. It is a lovely oil on canvas painting that is unsigned and the quality speaks to the solid skills of an artist with a unique perspective. There are some condition issues that could be addressed through some minor restoration, such as dents and dimples which are mostly visible from the reverse, and some scratches. It is mounted in a solid wood mid century frame that could benefit from a light refinishing. Please see photos for details.

A few “dimples” show on the reverse but are not easily noticeable on the front. There appears to be a very tiny area of paint loss in one of the dings and a couple of surface scrapes, but it still shows very nicely as is. The frame could use a light touch up as it does have some scratches and faded stain. less
