The set consists of all … Read more Grand set of twelve country French provincial style dining armchairs featuring a weathered painted finish. The set consists of all armchairs with 26 inch high padded arms in the style of French fauteuils. The generous frames have a gracefully curved, round back crest with an intentionally aged patina on the painted finish. The chairs have carved floral motifs and serpentine shaped aprons. The seats are button tufted with a textured, ribbed fabric that is vintage but still shows well and is very presentable. The chairs are sturdy and strong with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The fabric is bordered by small brass tack nail heads. Sold as a set of twelve from an estate in San Francisco, California.
