Regula sculpture with brown/gold patina entitled 'l'olivier le rameau du travail' and signed e. Picault, depicting a worker holding an olive branch. It stands on a green-veined black marble base. Emile-louis picault was a french sculptor born in paris in 1833 and died in 1915. His abundant body of work mainly features allegorical or patriotic subjects. Period: second half of the 19th century.
