The chairs feature a hardwood frame with a neoclassical klismos inspired back. The frame has a dramatic hourglass form in the manner and style of an English 19th century cock fighting chair. The frame is upholstered with a weathered and aged leather intentionally distressed to mimic age. The leather has a wonderful soft patina with fine craquelure on the finish. The borders are accented by decorative patinated brass tack nail heads. The seat is supported by saber shaped legs. The chairs are sturdy and strong with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Sold as a set of four. Each chair has its original order tags and plaque from Ralph Lauren on bottom.
