Vintage from the 1900s
Charles Dana Gibson was best know for the iconic Gibson girl image. This first edition landscape folio book is the fifth in a series of published books of his drawings. His medium was pen and ink and the 84 drawings or "cartoons" are just a great slice of American history!
Size: 17 5/8" x 11 1/2" x 3/4"
Specifics: Hardcover with paper boards and cloth spine. R.H Russell, Publisher.
Condition: Nice antique patina. Cover is discolored and stained with torn cloth at spine. Binding is intact but with some separation at inner joint. Expect pages to be yellowed and stained in places mostly at edges with 7 pages with tears that do not interfere with images. Nice old book aroma.
