A rare and beautiful chandelier, the lower bowl is hand-opened horizontally ribbed clear etched glass, crowned with a series of 12 large, heavy leaves resembling waves with foam. To create this intriguing effect, the puligoso glass that martinuzzi has just brought into vogue was used. The waves have vertical ribs and are dented on the clean side. The upper level is the fountain-shaped shaft still in puligoso, with a glass twist to recall the jets of water. There is a second stem in twisted glass and a ridged cap in puligoso.
