The light red hue this table exhibits is due to its lacquer enhancing the elmwood grain. This table adopts an unusual motif which creates great continuity between the legs and the top. Traditional Chinese geometrical patterns elegantly link the different elements to one another as the legs and top are adorned with as secured to one another by three carved moldings.
