On the Design:

Keen eyes for detail will admire the rich shades of moss and emerald green underscore lotus floral patterns in medallions throughout the field, spandrels, and the central border between two geometric meanders. The patterns enjoy a sandy beige and cream white play of tones, beautifully complementary to the saturated colorway beneath and equally so in their illustration. Connoisseurs will appreciate it as an extremely collectible piece, yet also an exemplar of the elements that make Peking rugs so distinct from other Oriental and Chinese rugs today—elegant works of a reserved palette like few others seen today.
