This elegant, large Chinese porcelain teapot features a classic white and blue design, with two intricately detailed dragons facing each other in a striking motif. The teapot’s shape is unique, with a narrow spout and handle that contrast beautifully with the rounded body. Marked on the bottom, this piece combines traditional craftsmanship with timeless artistic flair, making it a wonderful addition to any collection or as a standout decorative item.
The teapot is made in the style of the Qing Dynasty. On the bottom of the teapot is a six-character Chinese mark that translates to: “Made in the Qianlong period of the Great Qing Dynasty.” The Qianlong Emperor ruled from 1736 to 1795, a time known for its great appreciation of art and fine porcelain.
