She is crying, sitting on a bed of dead leaves, holding the naked branches of a tree in order not to fall. The Hunting is infused with the sadness that Erte associates with autumn. This has also been interpreted in another sculpture titled Autumn. (The letter P). Signed Erte on the base. See less
