Such beautiful Iron metal French doors with sidelights measuring in at 34" x 90 each door with two sidelights 8.5" … more Such beautiful Iron metal French doors with sidelights measuring in at 34" x 90 each door with two sidelights 8.5" x 90 each . These doors were purchased over 50 to 60 years ago and have been in a private storage unit in London. The collector said he had purchased them at auction and believes they came from an old hotel in Paris. Unable to find out exactly where but you can tell that these really are something great. They have amazing detailed iron on the front and textured art deco glass behind them. I don't think I have ever seen a set quite like this it has such great detail to it truly capturing the 1920s era. They have a great deco nouveau vibe to them. The doors appear to be in overall good condition I did notice some breaks in the glass two on the main doors .one on the door to the right bottom and the door to the left by the handle also, one of the sidelights has five cracks in it but I don't think the glass really matters you can't really see the breaks. I think it's the doors themselves with the metal art nouveau pattern on it is what is so special . Also, these are French doors but are hinged to open in opposite directions When we receive the doors they still had the Headley Humpers shipping label on them from London . They are so extremely heavy and would require a local pick up or a transporter to ship. less
