Brightly colored watercolor of a street performer by Hope Tepley (American, 1919-2010). Signed "Tepley" in the lower right corner. Titled, signed, and dated on verso. Original backing paper with artist info has been preserved. Presented in a new tan mat. Image size: 5.5"H x 7.38"W
Hope (Mercer) Tepley (American, 1919-2010) was born in Glendale, Wyoming. She married Marvin L. E. Tepley in 1942. They moved to Redwood City about 1973, and later to Pacific Grove in 1986. Tepley's art was shown in the 1977 San Carlos Art Exhibit.
