the v324 features a distinctive cylindrical brass wall plate with an integrated press switch, offering a more versatile mounting arrangement than the more commonly encountered v324/2 model, which has a fixed, l-shaped wall bracket. The design combines a substantial brass stem with a pivoting and rotating joint, allowing the lamp to be adjusted to suit its position.

each lamp comprises a larger cylindrical brass shade with a matt-black interior, paired with a smaller cylinder housing the e14 bulb socket. A polished aluminium conical diffuser sits over the bulb opening, providing a contrasting detail against the brass and black finishes.

the circular wall plate conceals a black plastic mounting base with two prefabricated screw holes and a provision for hard-wiring. The lamps can therefore be used with their existing electrical cords and plugs or adapted for direct wall wiring by a qualified electrician.

both lamps retain their original paper manufacturer’s labels on the underside of the black plastic mounting bases, reading “hans-agne jakobsson ab, markaryd, sweden”.

condition
very good vintage condition overall, with minor signs of age and previous use consistent with the lamps’ period. The brass retains an attractive finish, complemented by the matt-black interiors and polished aluminium diffusers.
