Solid Mahogany with dark reddish … Read more Manufactured by Brandt Furniture Company of Hagerstown MD in the late 1930s - early 1940s. Solid Mahogany with dark reddish brown stain and glossy sheen. The top sits on a pedestal with turned, vase form column and four reeded saber legs. The legs have brass-toned lion’s paw caps. Serpentine-edge table top folds 90 or 180 degrees to fit snug against a wall. Or, rotate the top 90 degrees and flip it open for cards, games, tea or an intimate meal. Vintage condition. Structurally sound, flip-and-turn mechanism works smoothly. There are numerous imperfections, some finish fading and loss on the top and overall wear consistent with age and regular household use.
