A wonderful 1970s expressionist portrait painting of a woman in a garden. This original, acrylic painting on panel depicts a woman holding a dragonfly surrounded by a colorful variety of flowers and plants. This playful piece exudes a bit of mystery and whimsy. A very intriguing and unique piece, unlike anything we have come across before. This particular artwork is unsigned, however it was acquired alongside several other signed paintings (also available in our shop) by the same artist, Pat Pillmore, and all are dated from the early 1970’s. Unframed. Portrait orientation. A perfect addition to your collection!
Measures 30” tall x 24” wide x 1/8” thick.
In overall good vintage condition: ware along edges of pressed panel board and painted perimeter, board has slight bow outwards, some spots and markings present (please see all photos) – ware consistent with age and use.
