The artist, Osaize Omodamwen (24th March 1933- 4th August 2007), was a bronze caster for the King. His works have been displayed or can be found in the Smithsonian Museum, Nigerian National Museum Lagos, Oba of Benin's palace, and in private collections worldwide.
