Hand knotted in high quality wool, the all-over field design portrays red and black pomegranates against a blue background; distinguished symbols of fertility and prosperity in many kingdoms, complemented by three tiled borders of highly stylized rams horn motifs representing strength and masculinity. Together, these iconic symbols likely represent a regional importance or divine request to protect the harvest. See less
