This antique wall ornament from France is rectangular-shaped, and features a large circular medallion within its center which is adorned with a doubled-arch crest molding, flanked within straight-lines. The lower portion of the panel is embellished with relief-carved flowers and foliate, and inwardly tilted s-scrolls at each far side. The finish is both neutral and warm, consisting of creams, taupe and soft hints of brown. This 19th century French carved wall plaque is a good-sized piece; as it is just shy of 5.5 feet in width and just over 3.25 feet in height. See less
