This is an incredible piece titled in German, "Paris-Sur-Bahn," which translates to "Paris-on-the-Track,", which is a whimsical wordplay mimicking the traditional French naming convention for riverside towns (like Paris-sur-Seine), but replacing the river name with the German word "Bahn", meaning track or railway.

This piece is from Keil’s exclusive “Junge Wilde” collection, which he created in Germany and Spain during the 80s and 90s. This collection is quite rare, and the German title makes it even more unique.

This is a fabulous piece executed on canvas-like cloth, which Peter often painted on before being able to afford canvas. It is signed and dated “P. Keil ‘89” in the lower left corner.

It is titled in German and signed with the location “Peter Keil, Berlin” on the verso.

This piece has wear that is consistent with age. The 4th photo shows a better look at the minor sagging in the canvas.
