Pair of wall lamps JEAN PERZEL –
Top objects - Hand-hammered glass
Multi-layered glass panes, satin-finished on the outside. This gives a noble glass appearance. Some of the edges of the protruding glass in the middle section are hammered by hand, which creates the effect of flowing water.
All glass parts in the sides are etched with hydrofluoric acid.
Brackets at the top and bottom are solid bronze, elegantly chrome-plated.
The objects by Jean Perzel are high-quality models of the “Maître de Luminaire” Jean Perzel, who is mentioned in the literature.
Jean Perzel was a researcher of light and designed his light objects based on the principle of shadowlessness. Today, he remains unsurpassed in his elegant designs and luxurious simplicity and is recognized worldwide as the greatest lamp artist of French Art Deco.
