Includes an artist's chop and calligraphy by Brenda Conner along the right edge. Inscription on verso reads "Painting from a photo I took of Rube on our hike 1985 on Yosemite Mist Trail. Painted November 1993. Calligraphy by Brenda Conner: "Things pass by but they are never gone; when the future looks back it is like the present looking at the past".
