Hand knotted in high-quality wool, the medallion-style field design depicts a quarter-diamond Dyrnak pattern with elements of Gol motifs( known for their finesse and antiquity) in deep blue and rustic, tangerine red. Unique to this piece is that while many Baluch pieces repeat or focus on one pattern more intensely, the background of this piece employs Boteh symbols of flame and the universe, framed by the repeated Dyrnak symbols and repeating Agra borders wrapping the portrait without interruption.
