Hand knotted in high-quality wool, the red background of the field elevates four repetitious but very subtly varied floral medallions in golden-yellow and lavender, wrapped by rare vertical spandrels continuing against the innermost wrapping border. These particular patterns show a rare choice of asymmetry to the beige and green colourways, which are not perfectly mirrored lie the other colourways in the flawlessly repeated borders, hosting lancet leaf, iris, lotus, and vine scroll florals symbols connecting to regeneration, liberty, rebirth, and beauty.
