A set of eight rosewood dining chairs designed by Niels Otto Møller in 1962 and manufactured by JL Møllers Møbelfabrik … Read more A set of eight rosewood dining chairs designed by Niels Otto Møller in 1962 and manufactured by JL Møllers Møbelfabrik of Denmark with Danish [paper] cord seats. The rosewood chairs have a curved backrest with three horizontal supports, terminating in a delicate finial at each corner. Møller often spent up to five years revising and perfecting a single design, a process reflected here in the chairs’ slender profile and remarkable stability, despite the absence of any extraneous structural elements. The set comprises of two ‘captain’ armchairs (Model 62) and six side chairs (Model 78.)

Side chair: 19.25” width x 20” depth x 31.5” height; 18” seat height.
Arm chair: 21.75” width x 20” depth x 31.5” height; 18” seat height 27.5” arm height.

Condition
Excellent restored condition; professionally refinished. New Danish cord seat according to original design.
