Gorgeous Chinese Gansu Province hand-painted credenza made from pine in the late 19th century. The Provenance of this piece is as follows: The sellers bought this piece from a family
who had immigrated from China to Vancouver British Columbia Canada in 1940. The new owners then moved from Vancouver to Chicago Illinois in the mid 1950s where the children inherited the items from their parents estate. This was purchased from that estate. It is magnificent and very on trend in a rustic or formal transitional/traditional setting. The back inside does have a hole that was cut out for TV wires. This is shown in the photo with the open doors on the right hand side of the item. Charming and beautiful, you will not be disappointed!
