Gaugh. It features a monograph collection of the artworks of the Abstract Expressionist artist Willem De Kooning.

Willem De Kooning ( 1904 - 1997 ) the Dutch born Abstract Expressionist painter and sculptor is known for his " Action Painting " style artworks. De Kooning led the 1950's art world into a new movement known as American Abstract Expressionism. he was a part of a group of artists that became known as The New York School in The Mid Century including Jackson Pollock, Lee Krasner, Franz Kline, Arshile Gorky, Mark Rothko, Helen Frankenthaler, Hans Hofmann, Robert Motherwell, and Clyfford Still among others. Artworks by De Kooning are included in teh collections of many of the worlds most prestigious museums.

The rare out of print collector's art book measures 8 1/2" W X 11" H X 1/2" D, with 136 pages, 115 illustrations including 49 full color plates, and features double page color photos of the artist on the front and back inside covers. It is printed on high quality heavyweight paper stock with vibrant ink colors.

It is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age, use, and light signs of handling. There are a few pages with hand written notes from the previous owner in text areas, and a page with a paperclip impression in the margin area. Please see photos for condition reference.
