Set of six sides and two arm period transition Sheraton Hepplewhite dining chairs, circa 1780-90. Finely carved splat with central heart shaped detail and wheat carvings, tapered legs, and gently curved backs. Excellent condition Oborne & Little upholstered fabric seats. Easily paired with traditional dining table, or add to a contemporary style. Set purchased in 2000 from John Bossone, Inc. and lovingly used by one family since. Some fine repairs done by Yesko Furniture Restoration.
Arm chairs are 22" w x 17" deep.
