The result is a modern, abstract design that fits perfectly into modern interiors. Despite its cool, simple design, this rug makes any room more homely and cozy. Pattern The clear, abstract design of this contemporary rug particularly appeals to people who love simple, modern interior design and architecture. The design idea for this rug comes from Europe. Without being bound by the rules of traditional rug patterns, it was developed for the Western art and interior design style. This is not a completely new development. The roots of European rug design go back to Art Deco carpets, which were made to Western specifications between the late 1920s and 1950s. The surface of this Terra appears mottled. The color changes and light-dark shades of the pile yarn run across the length of the carpet, making the colors shimmer and making the rug insensitive to dirt. The rug looks more lively because of these so-called color jumps. The mottled effect occurs because the wool of this Terra was hand-spun. When coloring, the natural dyes are absorbed differently. Individual areas of the pattern have a higher pile than the other parts of this rug. The patterns of modern rugs tend to become simpler and more abstract. Playing with different pile heights is new and has replaced more elaborate and intrusive patterns. However, because parts of the pattern are highlighted in two dimensions, the rug does not look boring at all. The accentuation is extraordinary and has a unique effect. The background of this Terra is light brown. Material The pile of this Terra is made of a durable blend of wool and viscose. Viscose, also known as viscose, acetate silk or rayon, is basically obtained from the natural product cellulose, i.e. from the raw material wood. In India, the cellulose mass is obtained from bamboo. In a complex process, the pulpy cellulose is drawn into a continuous textile yarn. That's why viscose is also called a continuous filament yarn. Because of the silky sheen of the yarn, the viscose made from bamboo is also called “Bamboo Silk”. The colloquially used term “artificial silk” is not permitted according to the Textile Labeling Act TKG. The weft and warp threads of this terra are made of cotton. The versatile material is tear-resistant and stretchy and therefore particularly suitable for a durable underlay. less

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller

Cancellations
