Renown for their living room tables, this Mersman crafted living room side table is a testament to the maker’s consistent high quality craftsmanship in the late 1800’s - mid 1900s. This table utilizes solid mahogany throughout its construction, expertly shaped to imitate a musical lyre.
The table stand in a four point sweeping legged base with silver capped feet. The main body of the table forms a lyre, with fine carving and shaping of the strings. A single drawer rests inside the tabletop above the lyre. The drawer pulls easily and without problem. A molded bordering rings the circular tabletop finalizing an early Americana style, classic in all regards.
