Giuseppe Benassai Pair of Busts 1834 Livorno made of alabaster depicting two middle-aged figures. Elegant Pair of Italian figurative sculptures in hand-carved alabaster from 1834, a pair of Tuscan busts depicting two figures in neoclassical taste, in 19th-century dress, a figure of a woman in evening dress with plunging neckline and elaborate hairstyle with curls and an elegantly dressed male figure, with bow tie, of Tuscan provenance, specifically from Livorno. The two figures are middle-aged: he with curly hair and pronounced sideburns, dressed in a jacket and overcoat has small restorations on the right nostril of the nose and on the lower part of the overcoat in addition to the lack of part of the bow tie, The lady wears a dress with a generous cleavage and an elaborate hairstyle; she also has a small lack at the right earring and restorations at the front right corner of the base and on some of the curls of the hairstyle.
Dated and signed on the reverse with the engraving Giuse (G.) Benajsai made 1834 Livorno, probably a relative of the artist Giuseppe Benassai of the same name but born in Reggio Calabria in July 29, 1835, thus a year after the execution of the busts.

- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller

- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
