Rare Danish studio pottery table lamp designed by Marianne Starck for Michael Andersen and Son, Bornholm. German-born Marianne Starck (1938–2007) was one of Denmark’s leading ceramic designers in the 20th century. She is most known for her time with the ”Michael Andersen & Son” factory. Marianne's artistry is represented at numerous museums in the Nordic countries. Signed with impressed marks and initialed MS in blue glaze underneath.
Has been rewired for USA sockets.
Comes with small mid century linen barrel lampshade and new incandescent bulb.
