The highboy structure serves as a canvas for the intricate chinoiserie artwork that adorns its surface. The functionality of the secretary desk is seamlessly integrated into its design, with a fold-down writing surface revealing an interior fitted with compartments and drawers, providing storage space for documents, stationery, and other essentials (key included). Additionally the piece provides five drawers of storage on the top and bottom of the desk / chest. This piece is in excellent vintage condition. It has a few very faint marks on the top surface from use, but otherwise in near perfect condition. The desk surface is 28 wide by 14 deep and 31 inches high. The over all piece is approximately 59"H x 33.5 "W x 19"D. The top and bottom are separate pieces for easier shipping or moving of the piece.
