Brass sculptural diorama of unknown manufacture.
This piece depicts what appears to be a sultan or other royalty being transported in a palanquin, assisted by two boys and an elder. The people are either riding or guiding camels that have been draped in textiles.
The overall construction of this piece appears to be brass and features numerous smooth and tumbled stone decorative inlays in shades of turquoise and alabaster.
